Caelestia, μια progressive / symphonic extreme metal μπάντα από την Αθήνα, η οποία κυκλοφόρησε το ντεμπούτο album της (υπό την Φινλανδική "Inverse Records") στις αρχές του 2015 με τίτλο "Beneath Abyss". Ολοκληρώνοντας κάποιες σημαντικές αλλαγές στο line-up τους το φθινόπωρο του ίδιου έτους (τελευταία προσθήκη ήταν ο drummer Σωκράτης Παναγουλέας (που ανάμεσα σε άλλους έχει "σπουδάσει" δίπλα στον Έλληνα θρύλο George Kollias [Nile]), η μπάντα καταστάλαξε σε μια 6μελή σύνθεση (2 τραγουδιστές, 2 κιθαρίστες, 1 μπασίστας και 1 drummer) και είναι έτοιμη να αντιμετωπίσει τις προκλήσεις που έρχονται.
Το συγκρότημα με υπερηφάνεια αναγγέλει πως θα εμφανιστεί ως μοναδικό support στη συναυλία των Arch Enemy στην Αθήνα, το Σάββατο 14 Νοεμβρίου 2015 (Gagarin 205 Club, Athens). Προγραμματίζονται περισσότερες εμφανίσεις (εντός και εκτός συνόρων) που θα ανακοινωθούν στο μέλλον. Η μπάντα είναι μαθημένη σε μεγάλα live shows καθώς έχει ανοίξει στο πρόσφατο παρελθόν τις συναυλίες των "Katatonia" και "The Vision Bleak".
Παράλληλα με τα live shows το συγκρότημα έχει επίσης προσηλωθεί σε διάφορες δραστηριότητες προώθησης και έχει καταφέρει να επιτύχει συμφωνίες με σημαντικούς προμηθευτές, όπως "Schecter Guitar Research Co" (οι Caelestia είναι η πρώτη επίσημη συνεργασία της "Schecter Guitar Research Co" στην Ελλάδα), "Orange Amplification", "The Black Angel Clothing Co" και "Rotosound Strings". Από τις αρχές του Νοέμβρη του 2015 η μπάντα εκπροσωπείται επίσημα από την "Clawhammer PR", μια από τις πιο εξέχουσες εταιρείες προώθησης στη metal σκηνή παγκοσμίως, η οποία έχει ξεκινήσει έναν "δεύτερο γύρο" παγκόσμιας προώθησης του album "Beneath Abyss". Εκτός αυτού, οι Caelestia δουλεύουν αυτόν τον καιρό πάνω σε νέο υλικό για τον επόμενο δίσκο τους, στοχεύοντας σε πιο ακραίες μουσικές κατευθύνσεις σε σχέση με το παρελθόν.
Caelestia, a progressive / symphonic extreme metal band from Athens, Greece (signed under Finnish label "Inverse Records") released its debut studio album titled "Beneath Abyss" in the beginning of 2015. After completing some significant changes in the band's line-up in the fall of 2015 (the latest addition being that of prodigy drummer Socratis Panagouleas, who mastered the art next to Greek drum legend George Kollias [Nile] among others), the band finally settled to a full 6-member line-up (2 vocalists, 2 guitarists, 1 bass player & 1 drummer), and is musically ready to face all challenges that lay ahead.
The band is proud to announce that they will appear as a sole support act at the Arch Enemy show in Athens, on Saturday, November 14th, 2015 (Gagarin 205 Club, Athens). More stage appearances (both in Greece and abroad) are being scheduled and will be announced in the future. The band is no stranger to big live shows, as it has opened concerts for "Katatonia" and "The Vision Bleak" in the recent past.
Alongside with live shows, the band has also concentrated in various promotional activities and has managed to strike endorsement deals with significant providers, such as "Schecter Guitar Research Co" (Caelestia is Schecter's very first official endorsee in Greece), "Orange Amplification", "The Black Angel Clothing Co" and "Rotosound Strings". Since the beginning of November 2015, the band is officially represented by "Clawhammer PR", one of the most worldwide prominent promotion agencies in the metal scene and has launched a second round of worldwide promotion of its album "Beneath Abyss". Apart from that, Caelestia is currently working on brand new material for their forthcoming album, heading to more extreme musical directions than before.
